Our Vision

A Transformed life for a transformed Zambia.

Romans 12:2

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is — his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

Hands of Hope exists to see a transformation of Zambia one life at a time.

We recognize that true transformation happens at the cross. The Holy Spirit transforms us by renewing our minds and giving us new life. We feel called to be a part of the transformation of individuals experiencing poverty in Zambia and to be a blessing in their lives. We want to break the cycle of poverty by partnering with people for life!

Core Values

  • INTEGRITY: “integro” Working as a whole, honestly

  • FAITHFULNESS: Luke 16:10 “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.

  • ACCOUNTABILITY: We work as a team, not taking offense easily, and knowing everyone is accountable to one another.

  • PRAYER: We are dependent on God’s provisions, which requires us to communicate with our Father.

  • DISCIPLESHIP:  Matthew 28:19-20: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

  • LEADERSHIP: Great leaders have vision, cast it, and inspire others to have vision.

  • UNITY: John 17:20-23: "I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you.”

Our Beliefs

  • We believe that everyone was handcrafted by a loving God, designed for an intimate relationship with him.
  • We believe that because He loves us, He sent his son, Jesus, to die for our sins, so that we may have access to a relationship with the Father.
  • We believe that because of this we are now new creations, the old has gone, the new has come, and this is the best possible news.
  • We believe that being born again is much more powerful than a one-time prayer that gets you into heaven, but transforms your life, and is a lifelong process of denying self, and following Jesus.
  • We believe that the Holy Spirit dwells within each believer and empowers and inspires us, leading and guiding us into truth.
  • We believe the Bible is complete truth, and we believe that our lives should model exactly what it teaches.
  • We believe that discipleship is one of the truest of joys of every believer, and we will do whatever we can to disciple those who are around us as we overflow what God has poured into our lives into others.
  • We believe that the gospel is holistic, meaning you meet the total needs of mankind physically and spiritually.
