Child Sponsorship
The founding idea of Hands of Hope is to bring hope to a community of people. It’s important to not only preach the word of God, but also to show the love of God through action. One action we can take is meeting physical needs of children who are out of control of their situation.
Sponsoring a child at Hands of Hope means you are choosing one (or more) children that our nonprofit has identified as vulnerable and/or orphaned. The sponsored child receives monthly food support for them and their host family, and we ensure that they are in school. We make sure we take care of school uniforms and school materials.
Our nonprofit regularly visits sponsored children and their families, hearing their challenges and praying over them.
Once you sponsor a child, you can expect to hear updates from your child! It’s important to us that our sponsors get to know their child, however far away. Sponsorship is currently $40 per month where $30 is spent on supplying the sponsored students host family with mealie meal, rice, beans, sugar and oil, while $10 per month is saved and spent in January to supply each sponsored child’s needs with school supplies, a back pack, uniforms and shoes.
Sponsors make a huge impact in the life of a child, and can be the catalyst for a big change that affects generations to come.
